If before, in the first campaign of Viagra a middle-aged Senator Bob Dole was starring, now the heroes of the commercials are men no older than forty. Marketers no longer offer consumers a treatment for impotence but position Viagra as tablets for joy.
According to the newspaper The New York Times, the first patients who were prescribed such drugs were really sick impotent men. People suffering from diabetes, neurological disorders or side effects of antidepressants have been able to improve their sexual life thanks to the prescription of doctors.
However, later the demand for Viagra has risen dramatically. First, doctors began to prescribe Viagra to all those who were asking for it. Secondly, there were numerous online pharmacies that offered the anti-impotence drugs without a prescription and with fast delivery.
